1. Assess the Furniture

• Make sure the frame is sturdy and worth the effort.
• Check for squeaks, cracks, or loose joints.

2. Remove the Old Upholstery

• Carefully remove all staples or tacks.
• Take photos or label each piece of fabric as you remove it—these will be your templates.

3. Inspect and Repair the Frame

• Tighten screws or joints.
• Sand or paint the frame if needed.

4. Replace Padding (if needed)

• Add new foam or batting for comfort and shape.
