1. Assess the Furniture
- Make sure the frame is sturdy and worth the effort.
- Check for squeaks, cracks, or loose joints.
2. Remove the Old Upholstery
- Carefully remove all staples or tacks.
- Take photos or label each piece of fabric as you remove it—these will be your templates.
