Holytown Antiques is an independent antique and vintage shop based in Holytown, North Lanarkshire.
The business is owned and run by Lorna, with a little help from family when an extra pair of hands is needed. What began with a genuine love of old furniture, interiors and unusual finds has grown into a constantly changing collection of antique, vintage and quality pre-owned pieces.
Rather than filling the shop with large quantities of similar stock, each item is individually selected for its character, quality, design and decorative appeal.
What We Do
At Holytown Antiques, we specialise in antique and vintage furniture, homewares, artwork, lighting, collectables and decorative pieces for the home.
We regularly travel to source new stock from a variety of places, looking for pieces that offer something a little different — from traditional antiques and period furniture to mid-century design, vintage homewares and unusual decorative finds.
Because much of what we sell is individually sourced and one-off, our stock is constantly changing.

Why Choose Antique & Vintage?
One of the things we love about antique and vintage pieces is their individuality.
Older furniture and homewares often have details, materials, craftsmanship and character that can be difficult to find in modern mass-produced alternatives. Signs of age and previous use can form part of that history and give each piece its own identity.
Choosing antique, vintage and pre-owned pieces can also be a more sustainable way to furnish and decorate a home. Giving existing furniture and objects another life reduces the demand for newly manufactured products and helps keep usable pieces in circulation for longer.

Personally Selected
Every piece offered by Holytown Antiques is selected individually.
We look for items that we would be happy to have in our own homes and consider things such as quality, condition, practicality, decorative appeal and value before adding them to our collection.
Our stock isn’t limited to one particular period or style. You may find Victorian and Edwardian furniture alongside Art Deco, mid-century pieces, studio glass, original artwork and later vintage designs.
That variety is part of what makes sourcing antiques so enjoyable — you never quite know what the next find will be.

The shop is currently open:
Friday — 11am to 4pm
Saturday — 11am to 4pm
Sunday — 11am to 4pm
Viewings and collections can also be arranged by appointment Monday to Thursday, with daytime and evening appointments available where possible.
We also have additional storage nearby for larger pieces that cannot always be displayed in the main shop. The storage area is not generally open to the public, but appointments can be arranged where an item needs to be viewed or collected from there.
