Description
A striking vintage coffee table with a polished onyx top and ornate brass-toned base, full of decorative detail and old-world glamour.
The table has a beautifully figured pale green onyx top with natural cream, caramel and brown veining running through the stone. Around the edge is a decorative pierced brass gallery, sitting above an elegant metal base with scrolled supports, shaped feet and lovely raised detailing throughout.
This piece has a strong Hollywood Regency / Italianate feel, most likely dating from the mid to late 20th century, around the 1960s–1970s style. It is a very decorative table and would work beautifully as a living room centrepiece, especially in a room with traditional, vintage or maximalist styling.
The onyx top gives it a luxurious feel, while the brass-toned base adds warmth and detail. It is both practical and highly decorative — the sort of piece that instantly lifts a room.
