Description
An elegant vintage oval wall mirror featuring a warm gilt frame and bevelled mirror plate.
The gently moulded surround is decorated with small floral and foliate motifs positioned around the frame, together with a fine beaded inner border.
Finished in an attractive aged gold tone, the frame shows subtle variation and wear which gives the piece plenty of vintage character.
Dating from approximately the mid century, the design takes inspiration from traditional French and Neoclassical decorative mirrors while remaining simple enough to work equally well in a contemporary interior.
The bevelled mirror plate is a particularly attractive feature, catching the light beautifully around the edge.
Ideal for a hallway, bedroom, dressing area or above a console table.
